What's a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?
Through my work with RAD-AID International, I helped start a Radiology Residency Training program in Guyana. The first class graduated this year.
What are some of the most pressing health issues today? Why?
Balancing the cost and quality of health care is very difficult. Education, research, equipment, medicine, insurance and trained staff are expensive. Making it all accessible to the public needs to happen while motivating progress and innovation as well. Quite a challenge!
What is your favorite quote?
“Act the the way you’d like to be and soon you’ll be the way you’d like to act.” -Bob Dylan
Elaine I. The Viva Eve staff made what could've been a very difficult experience so easy. Their interventional radiologist explained everything so I knew exactly what to expect, and the nurses that took care of me in recovery were wonderful.
