What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute your success to, and why?
Patient care requires excellent attention to detail. I work with all of my patients to understand their unique medical history and address each of their concerns effectively. This ensures that each patient receives the comprehensive, compassionate care they desire and deserve.
What do you love most about being a Nurse Practitioner?
As a women’s health nurse practitioner, I provide care to women who come from many different backgrounds. I strive not only to solve my patients’ clinical needs, but also to connect with them on a deeper level. Effective care requires strong patient-provider relationships, but these are often lacking in modern health systems. As an NP, I can help build these relationships and improve the quality of care for my patients.
Who has influenced you most when it comes to how you approach your work?
My teachers and clinical preceptors have been invaluable role models for me. Throughout my nursing education, I have had the privilege to work with and learn from many amazing individuals who have devoted their careers to educating future nurses and nurse practitioners across the globe. They have inspired me to work hard and showed me the value and meaning of lifelong dedication to patient care. I am truly grateful for these relationships and look forward to one day paying it forward to nursing trainees.
Taylor M. From my first contact with the front desk to all the doctors, it’s been very professional, warm, and loving. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of talented people, and I will forever be thankful for everyone.
